Me, I’ll just report about this, while some people (like that r0gue Zombie chap) will be there to witness the event. At rAge, starting tomorrow, gamers attending the LAN will attempt to break a Guinness World Record. Go guys, go. Press release: The gamers participating in this year’s NAG LAN @ rAge are set to put South African gaming on…
Oh, yes please. In Arkham City, our ‘friendly’ Dark Knight will be able to interrogate thugs for information. Now that does sound rather awesome. Maybe you can beat some sense into the Boy Wonder while you’re at it too? Err, no, but thug shakedown is good enough thanks. So says Rocksteady game director Sefton Hill. Batman has a few more…
After much “is it in or is it not?“, Activision has put the question to rest with a defintive “yes, it’s in”. Well, the press release had this to say:
Whether this is a coincidence or a sign of the times (refer to this article earlier this week), but UK retailer GAME has announced for the second time this year that it will be closing stores due to further financial losses. The company is planning to close 85 of its UK stores over the next three years, reducing the overall…
Treyarch chief Mark Lamia has confirmed some CoD: Black Ops campaign details via CVG. And it all sounds rather tasty. “The story is being told from the moment you put in your disc, to the end of the campaign.” “You do play some different characters along the way, but it’s literally… it’s going to challenge you to figure out what’s…
Sometimes, one wishes companies would stop acting all coy and say yay or nay. This beating around the bush is all a little childish. He replied to to a tweet asking if there would…

Surprisingly it isn’t even second most played, but slots in at number three. Maybe the fact that it only released on the 14th clouded the numbers? Either way, Reach is beaten by Modern Warfare 2 and it’s older sibling Halo 3 in the most recent Live Activity charts.
Next week then?

Alright, not the game itself, but the guitar. You still looked didn’t you?
To mark the launch of Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock, the first ever gaming guitar has been inducted in to the legendary Hard Rock Hall of Fame by the UK’s biggest Kiss Fan Kevin Curtis. A member of the world’s longest running KISS tribute band, Kevin was on hand to unveil the guitar which was framed and signed by the game’s narrator, living rock legend and KISS co-founder Gene Simmons. The gaming controller now sits alongside historic memorabilia from such rock royalty as The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix and Elvis Presley, where Guitar Hero has taken its rightful place in the pantheon of rock music lore as part of the Hard Rock Hall of Fame.
