Sometimes, one wishes companies would stop acting all coy and say yay or nay. This beating around the bush is all a little childish.
So, with this in mind, this is not official (again), but rather a loose-lipped tweet by Treyarch’s community boss Josh Olin that started the rumour. Again.
He replied to to a tweet asking if there would be a Zombies mode in Black ops, and promised fans that a co-op reveal was coming. When asked if he knew what it was, he wrote:
“I do… But it’s not something I want to spoil ahead of time.”
When fans pressed him on whether or not it was a Zombie Mode, he wrote:
“If Zombies have anything to do with our top-secret Co-Op mode, then it’s a safe bet there will be a trailer for it eventually…”
Enough. Stop teasing us now. Please.
