ZeniMax has reportedly filed a trademark for ‘Dawnguard’ which is now being speculated as possible upcoming DLC expansion for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. To further add to the possibility, CVG point out that ‘Mythic Dawn Guards’ appeared in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.
The Unofficial Elder Scrolls Pages explain that “Dawnguards are responsible for the assassination of Uriel Septim VII and their main objective is to allow Daedra to invade Tamriel by opening Oblivion Gates in order to take control of the continent.”
Last December Bethesda’s Todd Howard explained that Skyrim DLC will focus on “ways to make the game better, not just have more, because the game is so big”.
