There are plenty of people keeping the other people of South Africa entertained with gaming activities. This is them, and the news they generate.
MSSA
Team eSports SA has cracked the top ten rankings for 2013 according to the IeSF.
That’s according to a press release from the MSSA, which goes on to say that from “being unranked in 2010, the South African team has ploughed its way through the opposition to make it into the top twenty (13th) in 2011.
“Unfortunately, the team slipped in 2012 to 18th position, but still showed improvement with the team coming home with a silver in the Women’s StarCraft II event.”
While South Africa didn’t win any medals at the 2013 IeSF event, it was enough to see get into the top ten, tied ninth with Serbia.
