Energy eSports_01Energy eSports

One of South Africa’s biggest names in eSports, Energy, has seen a team reshuffle for the 2014 season. According to the press release, the “first of the major changes in Energy eSports is a reshuffle of the Dota 2 team,” which sees Leon ‘Flarez’ Wong, Donio ‘DONI’ Texiera and Mohammed ‘seeM’ Lorgat moving to Bravado Gaming for the 2014 season. Tristan ‘Clitsy’ Bridger and Ryan ‘xeRa’ O’doherty will be joined at Energy eSports by Sakkie ‘RandomHero’ Basson, Justin ‘LGP’ Probyn and Dylan ‘Shanks’ Probyn.

The other change at Energy eSports is the addition of a League of Legends division to the organisation. Re VeRa, who won the Telkom Do Gaming Championship in 2013, will be joining the Energy ranks in order to “bolster the Energy eSports name and to show that the MGO is a force to be reckoned with.”

Energy eSports had a good 2013 in which they secured a top three position in all of its fields at the Do Gaming Championships and competed at ESWC 2013 in Paris, France with the help of their sponsors, Proline, AMD, IS Gaming, SteelSeries and Monster Energy.
