Considering how busy the last week was when it came to events, the amount of information available from some of the country’s organisers is rather dismal. A number of results are still outstanding and we will update you as soon as they become available.

Trenchtown Gaming Tournament

IMG_0413This past weekend saw a slightly different event at Trenchtown in Observatory with the main focus being FIFA 13, as we waved goodbye to the title in preparation for the launch of FIFA 14. 32 players entered the tournament, which meant a cash prize pool of R1500 and a copy of FIFA 14 up for grabs. In the end, Jayson walked off with R750 cash and the new entry in the franchise.

The event also featured enough fighting games to leave players beaten black and blue plus a Forza 4 mini-tournament. We will cover the event and all the winners in more details in an upcoming article soon.

In the meanwhile, enjoy photos of the shenanigans in our Facebook Album.
