Breakfast Wrap 01What an awesome weekend of fun and games right?  Well it was for us, we got to enjoy the Ultimate Gamer event at this year’s Ultimate X held in Cape Town, and we’ll bring you more about it later today.  If your weekend wasn’t as awesome as ours, you only have yourself to blame, so take some solace in the news…

A new patch for Assassin’s Creed 3 has been released in preparation for the first part in the three part ‘The Tyranny of King Washington’ DLC.  Sub-titled ‘The Infamy’, the DLC will be available on Xbox 360 and PC on 19 February and on PS3 the next day.  You can check out the patch notes on CVG.

Pre-orders for Crysis 3 is 35% higher than for Crysis 2 and the multiplayer beta attracted 3 million users according to EA.  The game is out this week – 19 February in the US and 22 February in Europe and SA.

An RTS Kinect game called Gears of War Tactics has had some images leaked via VGLeaks.  Not much is known about the presumably canned game other than the game would’ve used the motion sensor to draw paths for units to move using their finger, and to select actions with gestures.

Two more gameplay videos for Injustice: Gods Among Us has been released by Warner Bros.  The geek in us is rather excited for the game.

Speaking of geeks… the first in a new series of ‘making of’ videos for Namco Bandai’s Star Trek has been released.  The game is due out on 26 April.
