An image of a page posted on Reddit is hinting at a possible release date of early 2015 for Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain.

Videogamer report that the image thanks fans for registering their copy of Ground Zeroes, and asks players to “come back Early 2015” to claim their Downloadable Content.

We know that the two games are linked, and the DLC is thought to allow players to use mercenaries rescued in Ground Zeroes as troops in The Phantom Pain.

Konami has yet to announce an official release date for The Phantom Pain.

Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes launches this coming Friday worldwide, although local retailer BT Games has it listed for Thursday March 20, due to Friday being a public holiday here no doubt.

Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes will be available for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
