Just a quick heads up – the 18 x XP event for Gears of War 2 which was supposed to begin tomorrow, 29th April, has been cancelled by Epic Games.

Epic Games’ Rod Fergusson aka ‘GearsViking’ tweeted “Oh and in other news, Gears 2 18x XP is getting turned off tomorrow. Come join us in the #gears3beta! You can still get in.”
