Sony expects to be able to replenish PS4 stock fast after launch day, to ensure “make sure people can buy a PS4 on November 15 [November 29 in the UK] and through the holidays”. [More on CVG]

PlayStation Group chief executive Andrew House has said that the new PS Vita LCD screen not inferior to OLED and can “now realise an image quality as high as that of the OLED”. [More on CVG]

PS Vita TV will not be releasing in the US or Europe (and therefore in SA too) “at this point.” The device will be available in Japan from 14 November 2013. After that Sony is “planning to sell the PS Vita TV in China, South Korea, etc, but not in the US and European market at this point.” [More on Tech-On]

Microsoft has bought the Xbone.com domain. They don’t like that you call it that though. Xbox’s Larry Hyrb said earlier this week: “I don’t like it…it disrespects the teams that have put in thousands of hours (already) into the development of the product. Dishonored: Game of the Year Edition has been announced by Bethesda. The game will release on 8 October in North America and on 11 October in Europe and will feature the original game in addition to the Dunwall City Trials, The Knife of Dunwall, The Brigmore Witches and Void Walker’s Arsenal DLC add-ons.

The third bit of DLC for Metro: Last Light will be available from 17 September. The ‘Developer Pack’ will add a shooting range, new weapon challenges, and a museum (where you can check out the cast of characters). On top of that, the real meat will be a new AI Arena where you can create custom battles between human and mutant soldiers for challenges and a new solo mission called The Spider’s Nest, which is based in a spider-filled catacomb with nothing but a lighter, a torch and a new Flamethrower. The DLC will cost you $3.99/£3.19/€3.99, or nothing if you have a Season Pass.

Chair Entertainment co-founder and creative director Donald Mustard hopes the studio will return to Shadow Complex “when the time is right”. The developers apparently want it “more than anyone.” [More on GameSpot]

Zombie SA CommunityXbox SA has announced that the next Games with Gold title in our region will not be ShadowRun as previously announced, but Banjo Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts. The game will be available to download free to Cold subscribers from 16 September, with SahdowRun being replaced due to the title not being rated in SA.
