As GameInformer note, one would think Naughty Dog’ playstation exclusive Uncharted series, would be one of the easier game series to adapt to film for obvious reasons to anyone that has played any of the Uncharted games.
This is not looking like the case though, as the Uncharted movie suffers another set-back.
Variety report that director, Neil Burger (Limitless), who had been tasked with directing the film, has walked away from the project, and it is rumoured that more could follow.
Burger becomes the second director to leave the Uncharted project, he follows the previous director, David O. Russell (The Fighter) who left the production in 2011.
Russell was apparently criticized for some of his ideas including wanting to cast Mark Wahlberg as Nathan Drake.
