Yuke’s who are best known for the UFC franchise, have acquired the licensing rights to the Lingerie Football League.
Destructoid are in possession of a press release confirming the news and explaining a little more about the game.
The LFL matches are played indoor by ladies adorning the football padding, helmets and lingerie. Seven ladies make up a team, there are currently 12 active franchises and 14 more are to be added over the next 3 or so seasons.
Destructoid also reveal that BusinessWeek says that the sport is the “fastest growing sports league in the United States.”
