Four of Ubisoft’s biggest upcoming titles headed to PC will favour Nvidia hardware, thanks to the renewed partnership between the developer and the hardware manufacturer.

MCV report that Ubisoft and Nvidia have extended their “strategic partnership” that will see Nvidia’s GameWorks Team work closely with Ubisoft’s developers to maximise the use of GeForce-focused graphics tech.

Upcoming Ubisoft titles Assassin’s Creed Unity, Far Cry 4, The Crew and The Division will be the beneficiaries of the partnership.

“Working with NVIDIA has enabled us to bring an enhanced gameplay experience to our PC players,” Ubisoft’s senior VP of sales and marketing Geoffroy Sardin said.

“We look forward to continuing our partnership with NVIDIA on our biggest upcoming titles.”

Nvidia’s senior VP of content and technology Tony Tamasi added: “We’re excited to continue our long-term partnership with Ubisoft in bringing our latest PC technology to their games. Through GameWorks, we have been able to add unique visual and gameplay innovations to deliver amazing experiences for these stellar Ubisoft games. I can’t wait to play them myself.”

Nvidia rival hardware manufacturer, AMD, critisised the partnership and it was even alleged that Watch Dogs’ performance struggled on many AMD cards.
