The Console Club has been announced. The first rule of The Console Club is you don’t talk about The Console Club…
Wrong.
The Console Club is another community driven effort by console players to push their beloved competitive gaming pastime ever closer to a “professional” activity, and platform for gamers to get both their Provincial and National Colours.
The club is headed up by Quinton ‘Baroque’ Davie from Apex Interactive, and is welcoming any gamers on any of the consoles and playing any of the games to register via them.
The main aim of The Console Club is to make it an easy way for “console gamers to be part of club and part of MSSA” and gain the “full advantage of MSSA events and e-gaming as a whole.”
The last year has seen console gamers slowly become more aware of the MSSA and the benefits of association with the body, with a number of new clubs springing up to help with expanding the number of MSSA affiliated players competing for the honour of wearing Protea colours.
