Upcoming Events
A few events that may be of interest to you this coming weekend:
- Xbox Playdates ZA are hosting their playdates series throughout September. The Thursday evening events start at 8pm, while the Friday F1 events begin at 9pm. You can get more information here about the regular gaming play dates.
- 26th – Forza Motorsport 7
- 27th – F1 2017
- The Canal Walk Gaming Expo (Cape Town) is underway and runs until 29 October. Entry is free and you can expect to find VR, new games and more. BT Games is also running a sequence of specials and there is a FIFA 18 tournament happening from the 27th. For additional information, you can head .
- E-Kasi Tech Fest is underway in Soweto until 27 October. A variety of speakers, panels, tournaments and more can be found at the event. Additional information can be found here.
- A FIFA 18 tournament features in Durban on Saturday (28 October) from 9am. R100 gets you playing for the R2,000 cash up for grabs. The tournament takes place at The Workshop Shopping Centre. You can head to the event page for more details.
- MSSA are hosting the Limpopo Championships this weekend. The esports and board game tournament will be held at HTS Tom Naudé in Polokwane. Additional details can be found via the MSSA Facebook page.
- The Mega8 Esports Dota 2 Pro League continues this weekend. For game and stream details keep an eye on their Facebook page.
