The 2021 African-wide Apex Legends Event is here!

With a $1000 prize pool and online broadcasts across multiple platforms

Johannesburg, 05 March 2021: Nodwin Gaming, one of the worlds leading esports companies, has today announced the continuation of its African plans by launching the African Apex Legends Throwdown, an Apex Legends event set to start on the 26th of March 2021 and conclude on the 18th of April 2021. The event will have the best teams from all over Africa competing for a share of the $1000 prize pool.

The prize pool breakdown for the top 4 teams is as follows –

1st – $400
2nd – $300
3rd – $200
4th – $100

This open entry event will take place from the 26th of March until the 18th of April and will host ten days of competition which will be broadcast live on Nodwin Gaming Africa’s YouTube channel, Facebook page and Twitch TV.

This event will include some of the top African broadcast talent and popular Apex Legends streamers renowned personalities like Dr Sid, the Nigerian entertainer, and Kaameel Chiktay, from NODWIN Gaming Africa’s Umzansi Esports League stable. These two will be joined by Thendo “ThendoPlays” Makhavhuli and Vedanta “TheLemons” Singh, who will be widely recognised as two of the continents top Apex Legends streamers.
