Worlds collide as Leti Arts adds it’s rich characters and setting to Fortnite!
Epic Games has supported custom-made content for a while, giving its players the ability to create custom maps and game-modes to share with friends. Often focussed purely on gameplay, Leti Arts takes a new approach through the addition of their very own heroine, Karmzah, a young woman with cerebral palsy who discovered her superpowers through a twist of fate.
Karmzah whose real name is Morowa was an archaeologist who got her power from her crutches that she had to use for her cerebral palsy. Karmzah is the brainchild of Farida Bedwei, who when speaking with Eyram Tawia of Leti Arts about the impact of comics for art and storytelling, was inspired to create a superhero like no other.
Karmzah was brought to life in the form of a comic in 2018, and has transcended pages to reach the screens of players worldwide with the addition of Karmzah in the Fortnite Universe. An article by Leti Arts describes the game-mode:
