I found it a bit strange when the rumors were saying that the Xbox 360 version of Final Fantasy XIII was not going to be able to run at 720p. Playstation 3 fanatics were saying that this was on purpose, and because it was historically a Playstation game. I thought that was a little silly and juvenile reasoning to develop a game at such a low resolution, in this day and age. Unless it was a porting issue maybe.
Not to anyone’s surprise, Final Fantasy XIII has been leaked on to torrent sites. And these pirates yesterday proved to be useful in clearing things up, although I don’t see why the developers haven’t yet. An article on MaxConsole reveals that the game “DOES actually run at 720p.”
