This really should not come as a big surprise, considering Assassin’s Creed 3 has sold 12 million copies, but a new Assassin’s Creed game has been confirmed by Ubisoft.
The publisher’s CEO Yves Guillemot told investors on Thursday that the new Assassin’s Creed game is expected during the 2014 financial year, which means sometime before April 2014.
While no real detail was revealed, Guillemot confirmed that the game will take place in a new time period and will star a new character. The game is also being developed across several of Ubisoft’s global games development studios and will most likely be introduced at E3 this year.
