That good old chestnut of a game Killzone will be having a double XP weekend over the Easter weekend.  From Thursday March 28 at 6:00 PM UK time, until Tuesday, April 2 at 10:00 AM UK time you can double the amount of XP you earn in online multiplayer matches of Killzone 2 and Killzone 3. [via]

505 Games has announced via IGN that Sniper Elite 3 be out in 2014 on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and next-gen consoles.  No other details were given, but expect sniper rifles galore.

According to a report by Nielsen, video-on-demand and other streaming services are used less on Xbox 360 than the PS3 and Wii – making one wonder why Microsoft is so fixated with pushing it.  The report says that only 13 percent of the time American Xbox 360 owners spent with their consoles in 2012 was used for video content, which is a one percent drop from 2011.  On the other hand, PS3 owners spent 24 percent of their time using similar services, while Wii owners spent 32 per cent.

If you were hoping to get your Disney Infinity action on in June, you will now need to wait until August.  Apparently, the delay is because of retail “following a strong public reaction.”  The game will now be out on 18 August in North America and 20 August in Europe. [via CVG]

Free Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance DLC is now available on PS3 (it’s exclusive), and Konami has also taken the opportunity to announce two new story-based DLC chapters, with hours of new gameplay promised in each. “Jetstream centres on the side-story of Sam, and features him as a playable character for the first time, while the Blade Wolf pack focuses on Raiden’s enigmatic side-kick and its unique story.”  Both will be out in April sometime and will cost $6.99 each.

The latest trailer for Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen shows off the Sorcerer and his array of high level magic spells.  The game – which features “all of the content from the originalDragon’s Dogma plus a whole new underground realm” – will be available from 23 April in the US and 26 April in Europe.

Darkstalkers Resurrection is available to download on PlayStation Network (PSN) as well as on Xbox LIVE Arcade for 1200 Microsoft Points.

Saruman the White will be joining the cast of characters in Guardians of Middle-earth and the Chief of the Wizards can really use his voice to draw attention.
