Breakfast Wrap 02Happy Monday.  Alright, that was maybe just a little too enthusiastic.  Sorry about that.  Miserable Monday then… better?  Maybe we should just hit the news rather…

Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 3 news to kick off.  The PS3-exclusive content for the game – called ‘High Tides’ – will be available for download for free next week.  The DLC will appear as part of the next PlayStation Store update on 15 January, and will add two new co-op missions, ‘Jailbreak’ and ‘Redemption’.  In the other Far Cry 3 news, a PS3 patch for the game has been released, with the Xbox 360 patch following “in the near future.”  For the full list of fixes in patch 1.03, check out CVG.

Tomb Raider will be getting itself a limited edition controller to go along with the release of the game itself on 5 March.  Looking like a damaged and bloodied teddy bear to some extent (you can imagine what I do if you try really hard), it makes a rather nice change from the traditional pristine looking limited edition controllers normally released.

Australians rejoice.  The first R18+ rated game has been revealed after years of waiting for your government to treat you like grown-ups.  The game is Ninja Gaiden: Razor’s Edge on Wii U, but hopefully there’s more (and better) to come…

Nuketown 2025 has been dated for release on PC and PS3 for those hungry Black Ops 2 fans.  The map arrives this coming Thursday (17 January) and is an exclusive treat for Season Pass holders.

Speaking PlayStation (sort of) an interview on a Chilean news site quotes Sony executive Hiroshi Sakamoto as saying the Playstation 4 may be revealed earlier than E3 2013: “… our friends are preparing PlayStation. I can only say that we are focused on the E3 gaming event, scheduled for June. Announcement may be in that minute or even earlier in May.”

In more rumour style news, a Resident Evil Revelations Xbox Achievements list has surfaced, stoking the fires and claims that the game may be making the jump from 3DS to Xbox 360, and probably the PS3 too.  The list appeared via achievement site Exophase, which has the game title down as ‘Resident Evil: Revelations Unveiled Edition’.

Finally, Batman is most likely to definitely be getting another game… or 15. Warner Bros. has registered 15 Arkham-related domains including ‘Arkham Universe’ and ‘Batman Arkham Origins’.  Can you say: “Hell yeah”?
