Activision has released the free Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 singleplayer demo on Xbox Live.
Weighing in at just over a gig, the demo is available in the South African Marketplace, the US and UK. Please check for any other regions here.
The demo previews close quarters urban warfare, controlling air support through the use of a attack drone, and manning a helicopter mini-gun during extraction.

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Single-Player Demo is an epic gameplay experience that takes you to the front lines of World War 3 as a Special Operations soldier engaging in a fierce firefight with Russian infantry and vehicles throughout the financial district of New York City.
The demo date for the Playstation 3 has yet to be revealed, but we suspect it should be within a month.
