Megarom Press Event | Q1 and Q2 Upcoming Titles

Megarom Interactive (PTY) Ltd. last night hosted an event at the swanky Melrose Arch hotel where they invited members of the press [and erm… Zombiegamer] to preview the distributor’s comprehensive Q2 and Q3 line-up.

We were treated to some preview code, behind the scenes information and even got our hands on two important upcoming titles – Dirt3 and Cabella’s Dangerous Hunts 2011.

Dirt 3 was playable thanks to Dirt 3 worldwide partners – AMD, Monster Energy Drink and DC. AMD set up a behemoth AMD powered rig, seven ‘portrait’ linked screens creating a wrap-around screen and Playseat/ Momo wheel for us to take the Monster BMW Z4 for a spin… and spinning is what I did most.

Activision set up Cabela’s Dangerous Hunt 2011 with a new gun peripheral created specifically for the game. A scoped, fully adjustable pump –action rifle that Activision say will be usable in future titles not yet confirmed.

Zombiegamer will posting some previews, highlighting some of the exciting titles to look out for in the coming months, so watch this space.
