Sony has released a small system update version 1.52 for the Playstation 4, which is intended to improve “system software stability.”
CVG report that Sony had said earlier in the week that it was investigating a growing number of cases of PS4 players being locked out of online games in titles including Killzone Shadow Fall, Call of Duty Ghosts and Battlefield 4.
The reported users who were affected claimed to be receiving an error message warning them that they require a PlayStation Plus subscription to play online, even if they have one.
The Playstation 4 releases in South Africa this coming Friday, December13 2013. Speaking at the Playstation 4 Media Launch last night in Johannesburg, Ster Kinekor CEO Mario Dos Santos claimed that the Playstation 4 release is expected, or could be, the biggest console launch in the country to date.
