MUD – FIM Motocross World Championship is actually looking good. We first heard about the upcoming motorcross game and payed little attention – we’ve seen loads of mediocre motorcross games in the past that do nothing for the genre.
On closer inspection it seems FIM Motocross WorldChampionship is being developed by Milestone and published by Black Bean Games, the combination that brought us the SBK Superbike World Championship series. We know the game-engine and know that it did a proper job before, but a superbike game can only do so much. With motorcross, there is the whole ‘freestyle’ and dirt aspects which can only add more… fun, dare I suspect.
MUD is also the only product to exclusively include the current MX1 and MX2championships with all leading riders, teams and motorbikes as well as the epic 2011 Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations!
‘Official’ is always good, and MUD will ship will official locations and 3 huge arenas for freestyle featuring different terrain conditions promise to deliver the most challenging and fulfilling motocross gaming experience.
MUD – FIM Motocross World Championship arrives in February 2012 on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. Here’s the latest high-flying screenshots which certainly excited us here.
And here’s the trailer…
