Heavy Rain, exclusively destined for the PS3 looks absolutely awesome. Well it now looks even better. The gorgeous female lead, Madison is featured in a leaked video “taking it off.” I was trolling around looking for more action on this highly anticipated game when I came across this ‘m-rated’ video and naturally thought violence, but to my surprise I got an eye-full. So I thought it my duty to share with other avid gamers and help up the pre-orders.
Heavy Rain developed by Quantic Dream is tipped to redefine the nature of storytelling in games as we know it. The huge 2,000-page script will feature branching storylines, immense character development and dialogue, and an ever-thickening plot, which is why we’re so very intrigued.
David Cage from the developer team gaveKotaku in a brief interview an overview of Heavy Rain’s narrative and ambitions.
“Heavy Rain is about normal people that have landed in extraordinary situations. I wanted a much more personal story. The first thing that came to my mind, as a father of two little boys, was that the main theme should simply be a father’s love for his son. This is not a game about saving the princess or the world. Its purely about a father’s love. The main story will revolve around 4 different characters, and we’re putting the spotlight on their perceptions. The question ‘what is good and what is evil’ is the key here, that will be just a matter of viewpoint…I believe heavily in moral choices, I’m going to use them A LOT. They’re not about being good or bad, but about finding the right balance.”
