Microsoft has announced that Happy Wars – a free-to-play massively-multiplayer battler for Xbox Live Arcade – will be arriving this autumn [Northern Hemisphere].
Happy Wars is a cel-shaded real-time brawler and will feature up to 30 players at a time – 15-vs-15 player fantasy combat.
The game will have three player classes – warrior, mage and cleric – as well as swords, fire-breathing spells and castles to destroy. The game will also feature an offline mode with a solo campaign.
While the game was announced last September, it has gone pretty dark, but this is the first time it’s free-to-play status has been announced.
