A God of War III trophy glitch has been discovered by a user on the ps3trophies forum. Apparently you can obtain a trophy without actually meeting the requirements.
The trophy in question is the “Maxed Out!” silver trophy which can normally be acquired by upgrading all the weapons in the story mode to the max. To do so, players must string together high combos and search for hidden treasure chests throughout the adventure which is obviously a difficult task.
Basically once you beat the story and Challenge of Olympus mode you will unlock the Combat Arena. Then the glitch appears once you activate it by setting Kratos’ health, magic and item meters to “Level 1” plus you will need to put the difficulty to “Titan.” Pick an enemy to fight and then start the match. In the arena, simply die over and over again until the game prompts you to switch to Easy Mode. Choose “No” to return to the title screen and the “Maxed Out!” trophy prompt should appear a few seconds later.
Whether the SCE Santa Monica Studio will be fixing this glitch is not yet known, so if you want to gimp your way to it then you best get cracking in case they do fix it
