One of the things that Gears of War 3 allows the developers to do without a Title Update for the game is to tweak a few of the weapons – even down to the weapons that spawn on the map.
Last week – we admit we didn’t notice – changes were made to Overpass and Sandbar. On Overpass, the Mortar has been replaced with the Boomshot and the Hammer of Dawn has been replaced with the Torque Bow. On Sandbar, three spawns have been changed: The Digger and Boomshot have been replaced with the Scorcher and the Oneshot has been replaced with the Boomshot.
