To further add to the Gears of War 3 frenzy on launch day, Epic Games has promised to release substantial downloadable content DLC, sites Eurogamer reporting on an interview with The Telegraph. Epic are reportedly working on new maps, new co-operative experiences and will be “constantly” working on title updates
Director, Cliff Bleszinski confirmed that Gears of War 3 ‘story’ DLC is also planned but surprisingly the DLC will not feature series stars stalwarts, Marcus and Dom or any from Delta Squad. “One thing I can tell you is that you’re not going to see Marcus or Dom or Cole in it,” he confirmed.
“I believe that DLC should be unique and cool, like Lost and the Damned, Gay Tony, Mad Moxie’s Underdome Riot. All those kind of things. DLC’s the place where you play and have fun.”
