Games

Mortal Kombat X will be out 14 April 2015 for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC. Villain Goro will be a retail pre-order bonus through a still to be named “exclusive” retailer.  

Project Cars has been dated for release in the US. The game will be available on 18 November, while the European release date is the previously announced 21 November.

A number of new details for Resident Evil: Revelations 2 have been revealed by an article in GameMaster magazine. Claire Redfield will be joined by Barry Burton’s daughter Moira Burton in the campaign. The game will run at 1080p and 60fps on new-gen consoles and PC and will feature co-op. The game will be heading “back to its roots” being more survival horror focused. Need for Speed Rivals has been added to the EA Access ‘Vault’. This means the came is available for subscribers to the Xbox One exclusive subscription service that costs £3.99 / $4.99 a month or £19.99 / $29.99 a year.

Industry

Microsoft got a little cheeky recently with a ‘Destiny Fragrance’ advert to get around pushing the game, as they “didn’t have permission to run adverts for the game.” [More…]
