Ninja Theory is planning something.  A tease via the developer’s official Twitter feed said: “Looking forward to showing you something new from us soon…”.

Suda 51 is also teasing something “unique”.  The game will release in 2014 and will offer a “new style of online feature”. [via CVG]

The “worst company in America” – EA – has realised it “can do better.”  That is the view of EA chief operating officer Peter Moore, who said on their official blog that they “will do better.”

GameSpot has reported that Microsoft has filed a trademark application for “game software” entitled Glacier Blast with the United States Patent & Trademark Office.  One can only assume it’s a new IP, but not one with a name that fills one with much hope.

Last week the Wii U version of Aliens: Colonial Marines missed its launch window.  We got all smart and suggested to watch for a cancellation of the game.  We were right.  Consider us smug bastards today.  A Sega rep sent the following statement to Kotaku: “We are constantly looking at all areas of our business and in this case have made the decision to not continue development of the Wii U version.”
