The still unannounced-but-almost-confirmed-by-default Call of Duty Ghosts has now been listed on a Spanish retailer’s website for Wii U and PC. [via Joystiq] And now there’s a teaser site too… CallofDuty.com is being redirected to an image that looks a little ‘ghostly’.
Let’s get back to the next-gen console rumours that make up a regular portion of this gaming news wrap usually. Sources are claiming that Sony is “in better shape” for the next generation, and that Microsoft is “behind” in development. This relates to the two platform owners position with relation to game development, with a Kotaku source claiming that “Sony in better shape and further along” in development of games for the PS4.
The same article also saws that the next Xbox will come with an exclusive title from Respawn Entertainment. The deal was apparently struck by EA with Microsoft – a move which we find pretty unusual for the publisher.
BisoShock Infinite may see a new AI partner join you via DLC. The information comes via a now edited Linkedin profile of 2K senior animator Michael Shanan. However, CVG spotted it when it still said he worked on animation and R&D for a “new AI companion character” for “BioShock Infinite DLC 1”.
Deadpool has been dated for release in the UK. Previously only confirmed in the US, the UK (and most likely SA too) will get the game on 28 June for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
Batman will be voiced be a new voice actor for Batman: Arkham Origins. Kevin Conroy will not reprise his role for the game. A replacement has not been named however. [via NAG]
Pre-ordering Diablo 3 on the PS3 will get you an XP boost. This will come via the Infernal Helm – an in-game item – which grants an experience point boost to any character who wears it.
New details have emerged about Microsoft’s IllumiRoom concept. According to Microsoft, it can “change the appearance of the room, induce apparent motion, extend the field of view, and enable entirely new game experiences.” [via CVG]
2K Marin’s creative director Morgan Gray has said the new XCOM shooter – The Bureau: XCOM Declassified will be challenging and “anyone who attempts to run and gun or Rambo this will die. It’s about a team working together.” [via Games.On.Net.]
Rumours are suggesting that Tiger Woods PGA Tour 15 has been cancelled by EA to give the series a gap year. It does look like it will return for ’16’ however. It seems this is part of EA’s “restructuring”. [via Kotaku]
Techland has announced a “first-person co-op slasher” called Hellraid. Or the game formerly known as Project Hell. Not too much else was revealed, but you can keep up to date with game on the official website.
A new trailer for Metro Last Light has been released, and it’s called ‘Redemption’.
Expect the Beyond: Two Souls campaign to last around ten hours. That’s according to the developer’s David Cage via GameSpot. A new trailer has also been released.
I hate “teaser” trailers. Or actually, anything branded “teaser” in gaming. Just show us the stuff already. In this case, Ubisoft has promised to reveal Splinter Cell: Blacklist‘s Spies vs. Mercs multiplayer mode on Thursday, 2 May via this teaser video.
And yet another “teaser”. This one does reveal that something new is in development for Dead or Alive 5. Still, just spill the beans for Pete’s sake because this says very little.

He’s the producer of Battleship, Ted and Safe House. According to Variety, he is the only confirmed “talent” for the film so far.
