Games

UK retailer Argos is listing Diablo 3 for the Xbox One. Blizzard themselves appear not to be denying it in a statement to Eurogamer: “One of our goals is to bring Diablo 3 to as many players as possible, but we don’t have any other platform announcements to share at this time.”

The Last of Us DLC ‘Left Behind’ has been dated for 14 February release according to a listing on Sony Entertainment Network. The date has now been confirmed by Naughty Dog. [via CVG]

The Xbox One version of Battlefield 4 has now been patched. Full details of the fixes can be found on Battlelog.

Hideo Kojima has confirmed that Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes supports Vita remote play. [via Twitter]

The first free Killzone Shadow Fall multiplayer maps have been revealed. No release date has been given as yet. [More on PlayStation Blog]

A new Saints Row 4 DLC pack has been released. The Stone Age Pack costs £2.49 / €2.99 / $2.99, and features two new weapons (a giant club and a giant bone), male and female caveman outfits and a “Flintstones like car” made out of stone and wood.

Hardware

The Steam Controller has undergone a change. Valve announced at Steam Dev Days that the device will drop the planned touchscreen in favor of standard face buttons and other input options. [More on CVG]

Alienware is planning to release its Steam Machine in September, according to reports coming out of the Steam Dev Days.

Industry

Valve is looking to drop Steam Greenlight. The plan is to drop the voting system because Steam is “evolving”. [More on CVG]

Steam will be introducing support for 12 new currencies throughout 2014. South African Rand is not one of them. Australia, Canada, Indonesia, Japan, New Zealand, Malaysia, Mexico, Phillipines, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand and Ukraine will be added to the existing supported currencies for the United States, England, Russia, Brazil, and the Euro. Valve has announced that Steam currently has 75 million active users, which reflects a 15% increase in the last three months alone. [More on Eurogamer]
