BioWare is discussing potential Mass Effect spin-offs with some fan favourites being suggested.  Javik, Garrus and Aria have been mentioned by BioWare members in an interview with OXM.

Ubisoft is getting feedback fro Watch Dogs from a real world hacking (internet security) firm Kaspersky Lab.  Senior Producer Dominic Guay told Joystiq: “They have really hardcore experts there on hacking. We send them some of our designs and we ask them feedback on it, and it’s interesting to see what gets back. Sometimes they say, ‘Yeah, that’s possible, but change that word,’ or, ‘That’s not the way it works.'”

The Bureau: XCOM Declassified has been in the hands of press around the world, which means details of the game and it’s gameplay have hit the internet.  CVG had their chance, and this is what they said.

New details for Konami and MercurySteam’s Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 have been revealed in the latest issue of OXM magazine.  More varied boss battles are one of the main changes, as well as a few other tweaks.

Take-Two has announced the release date for WWE 2K14 as 29 October – at least in the US.  Expect it to release in Europe and elsewhere on 1 November.

Square Enix have posted an £88m annual loss for the fiscal year ended 31 March 2013.  This has been attributed to weaker than expected console games sales.

Meanwhile, BioShock Infinite has sold over 3.7 million copies since its release in March.

Not to be outdone, Max Payne 3 has gone past 4 million copies sold… Admittedly it has been out for a year already.
