EA and Respawn Entertainment have suggested that TitanFall may still appear on the PS3 and/or PS4. This comes amid rumours that the title’s exclusivity on the Xbox One is only valid for one year. More on Eurogamer.
EA have also had their say about their stance on the optional third party restriction of used games on the Xbox One. EA Games Label boss Patrick Söderlund has said on the matter that “We don’t have a problem with second-hand sales as they are today. We clearly articulated our stance when we abandoned Online Pass.” So it looks like EA will not be standing in the way of you trading your games. Or trading your licence.
The free-to-play fighting game Tekken Revolution is out for EU PSN subscribers today. The game is a PS3 exclusive.
Games Workshop has announced a brand new Warhammer 40,000 MMO for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade, will be made by Behaviour Interactive (formerly Artificial Mind and Movement, who made Wet and Naughty Bear) and is due late in 2015.
The previously announced Wii U exclusive Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut is going multi-platform. Eidos Montreal’s Jean Francois Dugas confirmed via Gamespot that the game will be available on Xbox 360, PS3, PC and Mac.
The Last Guardian is still “alive and Kicking” and has “lots of people working on it”, according to SCE boss Shuhei Yoshida via CVG. However, there’s still no ETA on when more will be shown of the PS3 exclusive.
Need for Speed: Rivals aims to be out at the launch of the Xbox One and PS4. The game is already dated for release on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 on 19 November 2013. [via Joystiq]
Telltale Games have announced DLC for their episodic game The Walking Dead. Entitled ‘400 Days’, the DLC “chronicles the horrific aftermath of the undead outbreak through the eyes of five new characters as they struggle to survive the first 400 days of the apocalypse. Playable in any order, the five connected short stories are centered in and around a Georgia truck stop, where players will be thrust into horrifying situations that will test their morals and control the flow of the story through their decisions and actions.” The DLC will cost $4.99 (or its equivalent) and will be available for Xbox 360, PS3, iOS, PC and Mac this summer [Northern Hemisphere].
