Gamers’ Voice has now assembled a brand new team of dedicated gamers to write for their website. Each week the site will be publishing opinion pieces from members of the gaming community about various aspects of gaming culture and the games industry as a whole.
Gamers’ Voice is an independent pressure group representing video and computer gamers in the UK which seeks to act as a conduit to make our voice heard in the government and mainstream media. Their most recent public spat was with Treyarch over the Playstation 3 version of Black Ops being below par.
Gamers’ Voice state in a press release, “We hope that these will create and contribute to discussion about important areas and issues surrounding video games and the people that play them. We actively encourage anyone to get in touch with responses to these articles.
“We aim for a new piece everyday from our new team, these articles will be entirely the opinions of the individual writer and not, not necessarily those of Gamers’ Voice.
“Nothing is off limits, nothing can’t be discussed. This is by gamers for gamers.
“This is one of a number of projects Gamers’ Voice will be running in 2011. More announcements will come in future,” concludes the statement.
