EA has confirmed that the latest edition to the Fight Night franchise will be released in the first quarter of 2011.
The boxing game, which was revealed earlier this year, is in development for PS3 and Xbox 360. It will have a new single-player mode which promises to “break the mold of what is expected in a single-player sports game”.
There will be between 60 and 65 boxers, and players will take control of the action with “Full Spectrum Punch Control” – EA’s description, not ours – which promises to deliver the most realistic punching system ever seen. They also plan to make the title the most user-friendly of the franchise.
