According to the CV of an EA developer, the third game in the Dragon Age franchise will not arrive on current generation platforms, but on Microsoft and Sony’s next consoles to hit the market.
According to a statement in EA Shanghai level designer Tao Gu’s CV, the “scope of the DAIII has been chaged, which will target next gen platform and will be postpone [sic] to 2014.”
Kotaku speculates that the ‘postponed’ release spoken of could be related to alleged rumours of the game being shifted internally from a fiscal 2013 release (ending March 31, 2013) to a fiscal 2014.
With no actual platforms named, there is also a chance of this being rumour and speculation. Await confirmation from those that matter – BioWare or EA themselves.
