Darksiders 2 will be stepping in to the light on 26 June in the US and 29 June in Europe on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
To celebrate this announcement, THQ also announced that there will be a host of pre-order bonuses (which will need to confirm – along with the release date – for South Africa). There will be three different pre-order bonus packs dependant on which retailer you choose to buy from but our suggestion if you’re in the UK is go via GAME or Gamestation as they will be exclusive side-quests rather than armour with their ‘Death Rides’ pack.
The other two packs are the ‘Angel of Death’ pack – armour and scythe upgrade – and the ‘Deadly Despair’ pack – your horse gets a speed boost…

This unique pre-order offer adds an additional speed boost for Death’s trusty steed Despair, allowing players to travel across the vast world even faster than before. This perk is a permanent increase that will last throughout the game.
