It seems the team at Crytek are a little more than just shaken up by the recent leak of their upcoming shooter – Crysis 2. Crytek executive producer, Nathan Camarillo has revealed to the audience at the Guardian’s Gamesblog Live that the experience was a “very traumatic” one.
Camarillo explained the possible financial impact on Crytek as a result of the leak as people have uploaded it on to YouTube etc. saying, “you know that that’s a business.”
Camarillo described Crytek as having experienced the stages of grieving following the leak. “Everyone was walking around like Charlie Brown – really sad and shuffling their feet. It was really, really tough,” explained Camarillo.
Camarillo also confirmed to the audience that it was not the final code.
