Clan ASF have launched their new Starcraft 2 ‘ASF Bounty Match Series’ in conjunction with MWEB Gamezone.
The first match – which will be streamed live – will be between Clan ASF and Veneration eSports on 19 August.
The series will be a monthly (approximately) event which will feature =ASF= against whomever is keen to challenge them over three 1v1 maps and one 2v2 map. To the victors go the spoils of course and these will include Kalahari gift vouchers and possibly Gigabyte sponsored goodies. Veneration sSports’ sponsors Volt Energy Drink have also come on board and will give each player of the winning team a case of Volt Energy drink and a T-Shirt. Plenty to play for, so get in there.
How it works
Each month (give or take) we will have a show match where a team challenges ASF in a team match. Each team will field 4-5 players and will play three 1v1 maps and one 2v2 map. Three players will compete in a 1v1 map. The fourth player will compete in a 2v2 map, either with a optional 5th player or with one of the three players in the 1v1 maps.
The first bounty match
The first bounty match will take place on 19 August and will be streamed live from the MWEB MCave, where the ASF players will also be competing from. Veneration eSports (VnR) has taken the first step and challenged ASF. They will also be bringing along their sponsor: Volt Energy who will provide each player of the winning team with a case of Volt Energy drink and a T-Shirt. MWEB Gamezone has also thrown in some Kalahari.com vouchers to the total value of R1250. The winning team will each receive a R200 voucher (x5 players) and the other team will walk away with a R50 voucher each (x5 players). We are also in talks with Gigabyte to throw in some toys like they usually do when there’s an ASF event hosted. This will be confirmed at a later stage.

As said earlier, the entire match will be streamed straight out of the MWEB MCave. The audio will be enhanced by the voices of Ryan “CryTT” Odoherty and Tristan “Bouncy” Bridger. Caleb “ReaVeR” Ridley might also throw in a word or two when he is not busy competing.
