What new weapons can we expect new in Fallout: New Vegas? Obsidian’s Senior Producer, Larry Liberty reveals the new arsenal for your killing pleasure.

Firstly Liberty explains that he really likes the Ballistic Fist, saying that “it’s essentially a tiny shotgun grafted onto a gauntlet” which is activated by a pressure plate when impacting a target. The Ballistic Fist is perfect for situations where you may be unarmed.

Football Manager 2011 Reveals Social Media Features

Sports Interactive and SEGA Europe announced today that the PC version of Football Manager™ 2011 will include the ability to publish  achievements and goals to social networking sites, and will have a new camera angle for the 3D match view.

The 2011 version of the award-winning Football Manager series will introduce the ability to upload videos from the hugely improved Match Engine directly to a YouTube account. This will also include videos from the new match engine camera angle, dubbed the “TV camera” due to it being a moving and more zoomed in camera, much like you’d see when watching a match on TV.

Via Twitter, managers can set manual or automatic updates of achievements to their Twitter account, whilst STEAM users can publish over 80 achievements to a personal virtual manager’s office on www.footballmanager.com as well as their STEAM profiles.

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light releases on PSN & Steam 28 Sep

September 28 – Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light will be released on PlayStation®Network and PC (via the Steam network).

THQ drops Games for Windows Live, sticking with Steamworks

 

This should come as no surprise as it looked like it was on the cards last month already when THQ confirmed that another Warhammer 40k: Space Marine would only ship with Steamworks and with Games For Windows Live. Now the publisher in conjunction with developer Relic, will not include titles for Microsoft’s Games For Windows Live  for any of their upcoming Warhammer 40k titles.

The Witcher 2 Assassins of Kings interview

Tom Polish from CD Projekt talks about The Witcher 2, a sequel to the critically acclaimed bestseller, The Witcher.

Assassins of Kings is again a PC-only release and due for release in 2011. There have been rumours that console versions on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 might also be possible, but nothing’s yet been confirmed or announced. The second game will, like the first, star the white-haired Geralt of Rivia, and this time the adventure will be built on a new engine developed at CD Projekt RED, instead of a modified version of the BioWare…
