Since the online video game DOFUS continues to seduce an ever-expanding community of players, and the animated series has been a great success on France Télévisions (currently broadcast exclusively on the group’s channels France 3 and France 4), Ankama has decided to bring both these productions to the big screen.
Yep, EA has given in following the not totally unexpected pressure from “friends and families of fallen soldiers” and you will no longer be able to play as a Taliban fighter.

Check out the new video for F.E.A.R. 3 exploring the twisted nature of Alma Wade’s mind…
The new trailer from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment gives players a frighteningly close look at the Almaverse, the landscape of Alma’s nightmarish psyche. This Almaverse, inhabited by Alma’s demented visions, was under her control in both F.E.A.R. and F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin. Players only gained small glimpses into the Almaverse as she allowed it – until now. As the pregnant Alma grows closer to giving birth in F.E.A.R. 3, she begins to lose control of the Almaverse and unimaginable evil bleeds into players’ reality, with terrifying results.
Set to release on the Xbox 360, PS3, and Windows PC, F.E.A.R. 3 is a heart-pounding paranormal horror first person shooter unleashing intense combat, compelling narrative and co-op play that evolves the franchise. Alma returns in F.E.A.R. 3 but this time her sons Point Man and Paxton Fettel are characters available to play in divergent co-op, giving players distinctly different abilities affecting their own play as well as the experience of their co-op partner. Gamers participate in single player or co-op modes as Point Man, and they can play cooperatively as his conniving brother Paxton Fettel whose incredible telekinetic power has given him life beyond the grave. The game is developed by Day 1 Studios, developer of the original F.E.A.R. console games in collaboration with Monolith Studios.

In the heyday of their empire, the Eth Sorcerer Kings discovered sourcestone under the rolling hills of Stonefield. So great was the Eth’s lust for sourcestone to fuel their machines that they bound titans from the Plane of Earth to guard their mines.
