Brink TV Goes Live Tomorrow

Brink TV is going online on May 10. Described as ‘the definitive resource for live broadcasting of Splash Damage’s Brink’, Brink TV has been founded with the promise to appeal to both casual and hardcore FPS gamers.  It will showcase top teams, games, and leagues within the Brink competitive community, but also feature insightful and entertaining commentary, analysis, and play-by-play that will be relevant to both the seasoned veteran and the casual gamer. Sweet huh!

‘The Day One Launch Event’ will kick off at 8pm EDT with a podcast introduction of the Brink TV staff to the Brink community.  This will be followed by a roundtable discussion between the Brink TV staff and special guests from the competitive scenes of previous Splash Damage titles. Topics will be centered on competitive features in Brink-discussing what we know is in, what we think will survive a “Pro Mod” cut, and a wishlist of competitive needs that will be forwarded to Splash Damage after the event.  To cap off the event, Brink TV will be giving away multiple PC copies of the game while servers are being populated for the night’s finale:  Brink TV will host and shoutcast a series of team-based King of the Hill matches open to anyone in the community.

On May 11 at 9pm EDT, Brink TV is bringing together noteworthy members of the Brink community for a panel discussion composed of league administrators, fellow broadcasters and representatives from the top two North American ETQW teams. Panelists will share their first impressions of Brink and provide insight into the competitive nature of the game. All are welcome to ask our panelists questions through our chat room and responses will be given live, on-air.

With the founding team behind Quake Live TV and Games Cast TV at its helm, Brink TV is working to gather an experienced roster of top-tier broadcasters, competitive gaming advocates, and community leaders. With this team behind Brink TV, it hopes to produce the most entertaining and in-depth coverage of live Brink competition.
