Treyarch and Activision are working to resolve a number of issues being reported with the PS3 version of the game.
While users have taken to reporting the issues on the official Black Ops 2 forums – which includes experiencing connectivity and freezing problems – it does not appear to be a PS3 exclusive issue. South African gamers on Xbox 360 and PS3 have also complained of connectivity issues, while internationally, users on Xbox 360 have also reported freezing.
Activision Support said via Twitter: “We are aware of connectivity issues that some players are facing in Black Ops II on PlayStation 3. We are working on resolution, thank you.”
Another issue that has hit the PS3 version of the game is the inability of some users to redeem their codes for the Nuketown 2025 maps.
In the meanwhile, it appears that until a patch is released, you may need to grin and bare it or play something else. Anyone up for some Modern Warfare 3?
