Sad news indeed for many Bioshock fans – Bioshock 2 has been pushed to early 2010. We were supposed to get our hands on it by November but 2k announced this as they are needing to develop the title further.
This isn’t really the biggest surprise as Arkane studios, the fourth studio working on the title, was pulled in only last week to help with the title.
Wide speculation on the web is that they could fear Modern Warfare 2 – remember GTA in 08 and the Bioshock delay. All I know there is nothing more annoying than a game that feels ‘rushed’ and the fact that they are still getting more developers involved, tells me that they are clearly not happy with there progress, so I would rather see them develop a few months longer for such an important title.
