Platinum Games and Sega have given Anarchy Reigns a January release date, January 8 in North America and January 11 in Europe [and SA].
Anarchy Reigns’ release was previously being “re-evaluated,” and while it was confirmed for Q1 of 2013, the month remained unknown. Nor Sega or Platinum Games gave a reason for the delay.
The game’s producer Atsushi Inaba also took to the game’s blog with some comments on the online multiplayer portion:
“We could probably go on finding words to describe Anarchy Reigns all day.
“But to put it short, the objective of this game is to link up with players from across the globe and beat the living daylights out of them,” writes Inaba.
Platinum Games previously developed Vanquish and Bayonetta.
