xp-fest_01

ACGL has announced their festive season festival of madness. Well, we called it that, they have officially dubbed it the XP Festival.

The series of free-to-enter tournaments will offer players a variety of titles and platforms to play and will give players XP in return. This is in theory an ongoing test of the XP system and leaderboard that will become a much larger feature of the site in 2017.

Registrations are now open and the tournaments run until the 22nd of December, with eager contestants able to participate in a total of 42 tournaments for Modern Warfare Remastered, Infinite Warfare, FIFA 17, Halo 5, League of Legends, Gears of War 4 and Dota 2.

If you’re more in it for prizes than XP (which we think is a prize in itself) then you will be happy to know that you are covered there too. Sponsors on board are SteelSeries, EvoPoints, Monster Energy Drink, Raru.co.za and Reflex Warmers and prizes include vouchers and products split across the top five placed players per title after the dust has settled.

Remember to use the hashtag #XPFestZA when chatting about the tournaments on social media.

The full details via the ACGL site:

We at ACGL are very excited to announce the XP Festival (#XPFestZA). The #XPFestZA will play host to several tournaments, across different platforms for various titles over the month of December.

The goal of the XP Festival is to provide African gamers with a place to play tournaments over the festive season while, supplementarily, giving us a platform to test our site (Beta), leaderboard and XP system.

All tournaments are FREE to enter, and each will have an XP reward for participating players.

How XP works:

XP is assigned to each tournament on ACGL. Once a tournament has concluded, XP is rewarded to each participating member, based on their placement in the tournament.

The higher you place in the tournament, the more XP you will be awarded.

Earning XP will allow you to move up the ACGL leaderboards. XP is assigned on a per title basis.

At the end of the event, we will reward the top 5 players from each respective title with some prizes for their effort.

We will also be rewarding participants with some spot prizes throughout the competition.  All you need to do is play one from any one of our select titles in the #XPFestZA .

Prizes up for grabs:

Once the XP Festival concludes on the 22nd of December, we will be awarded our top 5 finishers for each title. The extensive prize list can be found at the bottom of the article.

We would like to thank all the Sponsors that have got involved, in your support of the event we encourage you to give them a follow below:
