This year’s tickets for the NAG LAN at rAge goes on sale this coming Saturday 4 August via Computicket. The cost for the three days of shooting, fragging and name calling around 2400 other gamers is R350… plus your own PC of course. rAge – now in its tenth year – takes place 5-7 October 2012 at the Coca-Cola Dome…
This year’s rAge Expo in Johannesburg, South Africa is in full swing and that is where all the cool kids are this weekend… Clearly we’re not cool or kids as we are nowhere near the event. Our associates – I’m sure those who know us would never consider us “friends” – at nArotik Gaming have decided to head over to rAge to participate in the NAG LAN.
They have dispatched two teams and you can expect them to put up a stern fight in Call of Duty 4 and Starcraft 2.
Megarom Interactive has revealed it’s line-up for rAge 2011. Megarom say they have “gone all out this year, securing multiple stands to showcase all of our titles;” and will be taking up more stage time to demonstrate some of their upcoming titles. “Be sure to check out Samsung, Comet Computing and AMD stands” says Jason Borea; Marketing Director at Megarom.
South Africa’s very own ‘Computers, Gaming and Technology’ Expo – or rAge – is essentially around the corner and is set to feature “everything – except bearded ladies”. Pity, that means I’ll leave r0gue to visit the show on his own.
Tickets for the show – which is being held at the Coca-Cola Dome in Johannesburg from 30 September until 2 October – are available via Computicket right… now. The expo will feature the NAG LAN @ rAge, a host of local distributors and their wares – including playable code of games such as Battlefield 3, Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, Mass Effect 3 and Batman: Arkham City – and loads more that the press release below explains in greater detail than I ever will.
